Beautiful campsite at Sæby Harbor can now offer you even more nature than before. Accommodation in nature is luxury for many holidaymakers.
A short time ago, the campsite, located on the edge of the Kattegat Sea, acquired the neighboring land to the north with 200,000 coastal square meters. Today, there are 29 summer houses, forest and other beautiful nature that is difficult to access for nature lovers.
The idea behind the purchase is to connect the newly acquired land with the campsite and make the whole area more attractive for both nature lovers, holiday home owners, campers ...
For several decades, motorcycle enthusiasts have made a trip to the campsite in Sæby to see the fantastic collection of classic motorcycles that Bendt Christensen has collected since the family took over Hedebo in 1968.
Now Henning Kjeldsen, who is behind Maskinrummet in Skagen, has bought the collection. After Bendt Christensen suddenly died at the age of 89 in 2023:
- My father and I agreed that others should enjoy the motorcycles once he passed away, because it was his hobby and not mine. Now they have been sold together, they will stay here in North Jutland and will get plenty of space to also tell his story. It would have pleased my father very much, says 2nd generation and current owner of the campsite, Eric Christensen.
