Through the many years we have run Hedebo Strand Camping, we have found out what works well. We also know the many laws that the camping industry is subject to. Some are there to take care of you, others to take care of the nature we are lucky enough to live in the middle of. For you and for us.
We do a lot to look after each other here at the site, so it is important that we all comply with applicable safety rules.
We have fire extinguishers located all over the site - please note where the nearest one is to your site. Defibrillators are located at the reception and the entrance to the campsite. See site map
Please note that waste must be sorted into 8 categories. Bulky waste must be delivered to the recycling center - borrow a trailer from us if necessary. We are also happy to dispose of bulky waste for a fee. Grass, branches and other garden waste must be placed in the garden waste containers. Cleaning of fish must take place at our fish cleaning site at building A. To avoid odors, fish waste must be packed in airtight bags. Instructions for waste sorting
Dogs (max 2) are welcome, but remember to pick up any leftovers. A barking dog or one that is otherwise a nuisance to the neighbor cannot be on the site. Loud music is not allowed during the day, and the site must be quiet from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Play ball on the field and remember that playing (e.g. with water guns) is NOT allowed in and around service buildings.
Watch out for the children, drive a maximum of 15 km/h and avoid unnecessary driving. Park a maximum of one car per space and do not park in vacant neighboring spaces. Due to the risk of overloading, it is only permitted to charge the car at our charging stations (fine 500 DKK), which you will find at building A.
According to fire regulations, pitches may only be fenced on 3 sides. No own wooden fences or garden gates may be erected. Small movable wire fences to keep dogs in may be erected, but must be approved by the camp manager and removed when the unit is unoccupied. Illegal fences will be removed.
The 3 m distance rule is being tightened. There may ONLY be tool tents between units if the rule can be complied with. A tool tent may be placed close to your own or a neighbor's trailer, but there must always be at least 3 m to the nearest other unit. The same rules apply to pavilions and annex trailers on double pitches.
