Here are meadows, forests, hills with a fantastic view of the Kattegat and the mild and friendly coastal landscape with beautiful beaches. We have a rich wildlife, Danish flora and generally a nature ideal for outdoor life. For example hiking, cycling and fishing
At Hedebo Strand Camping we have plenty of room for your dog. So you will have a wonderful holiday. Choose a site on Alabama or Hawaii. Then you will live in peace and quiet and with nature around you.
At the campsite is a cozy forest and our Natureground with plenty of space for walks. Be aware that there are deer and hares here, so remember the dog leash.
There is plenty of space to frolic here. E.g. you can walk on the beach all the way south to Sæby (2 km) and all the way north (1 km) to Sulbæk. On those walks you often meet other dog walkers.
Of course we also have a dog bath, so your friend can be washed after a walk on the beach or in the forest. Remember a small fence and dog bags.
When you spend your holiday here, you choose to stay on Denmark's beautiful, quiet and friendly East Coast. We are located right next to the Kattegat, where the sun rises and the moon shines on a clear night.
With the child-friendly beach, this is ideal for families, but also for surfers and sailors. Feel free to bring your boat, we have a place for it.
In fact, we have more than 3 kilometers of beach right outside the door. So you can cycle, walk, run on the beach or on the 2 km long paved path to the harbor in Sæby.

Sustainability is a big focus in our part of North Jutland, because we live in and with nature. Our campsite is surrounded by nature, and we naturally think sustainable solutions into the entire organization.
North Jutland is full of delicious raw materials and unique food experiences - e.g. we have probably Denmark's best retailer of fresh spiny lobster a kilometer from here.
So explore the local gastronomy and the locally grown and produced food and drinks here in eastern North Jutland. You will also find a selection of locally produced goods at Hedebo Strand Super.
Understed Bakker is in our backyard, Kattegat in the front yard and the forests surround our campsite.
Here are good opportunities to get your heart rate up through swimming, hiking and cycling. Or get your heart rate down by simply enjoying the deep quiet tranquility of the forest, or perhaps the flowers in Nellemann's Garden.
If you want to exercise from here at the campsite, North Jutland is known for its surf spots and many good golf courses.
Walk or run on the clover leaf (kløver) trails, where you can choose distances from 2.5 to 21.1 km. Or use our quiet east coast for activities that you can't do on the rough west coast.
In our area you will find some of Denmark's most beautiful cycling routes. The easiest is probably the 2.5 km to Sæby Harbour along the Kattegat - the most challenging is probably in the area and forests of The Jutlandic ridge (Jyske Ås).
In Sæbygård Forest (Skov) you will find some very exciting MTB tracks, if you want a little more challenge on your bike.
Bring your bike from home or rent it here at Hedebo Strand Super. Sæby Bikes (Sæby Cykler) is behind our rental bikes, which cost 225 kr (electric) or 100 kr (regular) to rent per day.
Many anglers visit us, because the area is known for its many good fishing spots.
E.g. the gold coast is right here by the campsite, where you can catch large sea trout. If you prefer brown trout or salmon, Sæby Å is only a few kilometers away.
Bring your own small boat, rent one through us or go on guided fishing trips. Our skilled guide, Bjarne, will help you plan exactly the fishing trip you want.
