Practical

If you need help, we are never further than a phone call away. You are also very welcome to stop by the reception, just as Sabrina and Daniel at Hedebo Strand Super can answer questions and help you with everything big and small. Remember, there is always someone from TEAM Hedebo nearby.

Campsite map

Would you rather live in the front row with a clear view and a few meters to the Kattegat? Or close to a service building with kitchen, bathroom and toilet?

If you choose a pitch at the Square, you are close to the café and reception, where there are quite a few cars. Maybe your dog or you yourself would like some peace and quiet - in that case we would choose a pitch up north on Alabama or Hawaii.

Feel free to ask us - we know every blade of grass (and pitch)

Night watch and other help

There are many stories about how the first generation here at the campsite (inger and Bendt) set a custom for the guests. They are told with respect by people who grew up here and now come as adults with their own children.

Bendt's son (Eric) may not use quite as rabid methods as his father came up with back in the 1970s. But when Eric cycles around the campsite, things quickly calm down. He and the rest of TEAM Hedebo also come rushing if a camper needs to be repaired, a dentist needs to be contacted, or if there is a bit too much wild play in the pool.

In short. Here at the campsite, things are under control, boundaries are set and adhered to. With a smile on their face and a twinkle in their eye.

Transport

Even though we are located in the northernmost part of Denmark, you have many options to get here. And many options to get from here. E.g. you could rent a nice electric bike at Hedebo Strand Super.

Take a ferry to and from Frederikshavn or Hirtshals. E.g. if you want to continue to Lofoten in Norway, Gothenburg in Sweden or maybe just on a day trip to cozy Læsø.

There is a train to Frederikshavn, from where you can take the bus. It stops right outside our door. Aalborg Airport is only a 40-minute drive from here, and we are happy to help you book a rental car.

Cleaning

We clean at least twice a day during high season and on holidays and when needed. Please respect the staff and do not use the toilet and kitchen when they are closed for cleaning.

Our 19 large family bathrooms and 3 baby rooms are available to all guests 24 hours a day. Please note that smoking indoors is of course prohibited.

Due to the rules for beach protection, we are not allowed to build close to the sea. So from the beach pitches and nature pitches it can be up to 400 m to the nearest service building. Remember to contact us if you experience problems with cleaning
