Easy to get to

Even though we are located in the northernmost part of Denmark, you have many options to get here. And many options to get from here. For example, if you want to continue to Lofoten in Norway, Gothenburg in Sweden or maybe just take the small ferry to cozy Læsø.

By ferry to Sweden, Norway or to small and cozy Læsø

Travellers from all over Europe often come by us and make a short or long stop here on their way to e.g. Lofoten in Norway.

Norwegians and Swedes also often sail the other way to spend their holidays with us. Here they find Danish coziness, fantastic mild nature and climate as well as a large selection of good Danish goods.

The cozy little island, Læsø, is wonderful to visit in all seasons. It is wonderful to walk everywhere here - both on the long beaches, in the dune plantation, on the Rønnerne and on the heathlands. And you can easily see most of the island in a single day - grab the bike and you will also get your heart rate up a bit.

By bus to and from Hedebo Strand - it's easy and cheap

Take the bus - it's probably one of the easiest ways to get around in  Denmark. Some buses even allow you to bring your bike. Just like you can go directly to and from airports with the X bus.

We have a bus stop right outside the door - get on it on our side of the road if you're going north, e.g. to Skagen. Cross the road and get on the bus there if you're going south. E.g. to Aalborg and the airport.

We'll be happy to help you with bus times, and you can find help planning your trip in the link below. Bring your bike from home, or rent one from us.

Discover Denmark by train - there's one going here too

With approximately 400 km from Denmark's northernmost tip, Grenen, to Denmark's border to the south and Germany, it doesn't take long to get from south to north. And from east to west.

Denmark is known for its public transport with low prices and frequent departures, so you don't have to bring your own car when you want to spend your holiday here in North Jutland.

Maybe you would like a little luxury when your journey to the north is over? Rent one of our luxury or standard cabins - here there is room for both you and your luggage.

Fly to North Jutland - the airport is only 40 minutes away

Although we are located in the northernmost corner of Denmark, we are closer to the whole world than many of the country's larger cities. Thos we are only a 40-minute drive from Denmark's 3rd largest airport, Aalborg.

Aalborg Airport was built in 1938. It is a small airport, that means you can get to and from it quickly. In addition, you will find Denmark's first domestic flight here from 1934, between Aalborg - Copenhagen. Denmark's capital.

It only takes 45 minutes to fly to Copenhagen, so in a very short time you can get from the heat of southern Spain to the cool, pleasant climate of northern Denmark. Maybe before you make your next stop: Norway or Sweden.
