Many of our guests love to stay in the first row with an unobstructed view and a few meters to the Kattegat. Others would rather live close to services, our café, the local market or a playground. Some want peace and quiet and prefer to stay near woods and meadows. Maybe for the dog's sake. No matter what. Cozy Sæby, the sea and one of our employees are always close to you
Our beach pitches are 90-120 m2 and are located in the front row a few meters from the beach and with a direct view of the Kattegat.
If you choose one of these sites, you must expect to get further to one of our 4 service buildings with toilet, shower and kitchen as well as playgrounds and the water park. On the other hand, you have the sea and silence right outside your window.
On our motorhome pitches, you can spend the night in security with peace and the smell of the sea as a neighbor 2 km on the beach promenade from Sæby Harbor. Our campervan spaces are large, with easy access and are secured for RVs. If you would rather stay directly on the beach, you are welcome to book a beach site if the weather allows.
Here with us, we have all the facilities so you can get rid of waste water, household waste and fill your water tanks. And you do NOT pay any site fee for a motorhome pitch in low season.
With standard site Big which is approx. 120 m2, you really get space to decorate as you wish. They are primarily located in the USA area, and if you choose a site on Kentucky or Mississippi, you are quite close to bathroom, kitchen and reception. On, for example, Dakota or Indiana, you are close to the sea.
If you want peace and quiet - for example with your dog - you should choose a place on Hawaii or Alabama. Then you have both a view of the sea and deer and hares on our fantastic natural grounds.
Our Nature sites are located at the northernmost end of the campsite - a little away from services, playground and Hedebo Torv. Here you experience the rougher camping life with good opportunities for wind in your hair and sea air in your nose. The pitches are 100-110 m2, so you have plenty of space for a motorhome, caravan or a large tent. And maybe with your own boat nearby.
NOTE, if you would like peace and quiet for you and perhaps your dog, you can advantageously choose a nature park. No site fee in low season.
You don't have to stay on a tent pitch because you live in a tent. You can choose exactly the site you want. But our tent pitches are actually fantastic!
In the Oklahoma area, you live close to a covered terrace. In the Hawaii area there is always peace and quiet. In both places you are very close to nature and have plenty of space for both car, tent and bicycles.
NOTE, you do not pay a site fee for a tent pitch in the low season.
Our standard pitches are 90-100 m2 and are spread over the entire campsite. You can choose a site close to one of our four service buildings with toilet, shower and kitchen. Or perhaps a pitch from which your children can easily find their way back after a trip to the playground, or a site close to our water park, located at the main entrance.
NOTE, you do not pay a site fee for a standard pitch in the low season.
You are always close to the sea and nature here at Hedebo Strand Camping, but from some pitches you have a "slightly better" view of the sea.
Our view pitches are located 50-200 m from the beach and are thus slightly closer to services than a beach pitch.
Note that there may be a larger wagon or perhaps a bush in front of you, taking away some of the view. If you want to be absolutely sure of an unobstructed view of the Kattegat, you must choose a beach pitch.
We have a limited number of boat pitches that you can rent if you have booked a site or cabin here. A boat pitch is approx. 10 m2, and there is thus only room for a small boat. It costs DKK 100 per day.
When you rent a boat pitch, you also get access to the pick-up tractor, which of course must always be put back in place after use. The boat sites are located slightly north of the site without supervision, and we accept no responsibility for any theft of boat or materials therein.
When ordering, DKK 500 (however, the maximum price of the stay) is paid in advance, which is not refunded in the event of cancellation or no show. In high season, the stay can be shortened or moved no later than 14 days before arrival without charge.
If you shorten your stay after arrival, you pay for the days you have been at the site, as well as DKK 500 in addition (however, the maximum price for the original stay).
In low season, the stay can be shortened or moved (possibly to the new year) without charge, but the advance payment is not refunded. However, we are happy to make a voucher for you, which you might use the same or the following year.
